	Nearly 30,000 species of crabs, crayfish, lobsters, shrimp, barnacles, pill bugs and water fleas belong to the class Crustacea. Most crustaceans live in the water, but some, like pill bugs, live on land in moist environments. Crustaceans are arthropods that have one or two pairs of antennae and jaws called mandibles for crushing food. Crustaceans have five pairs of legs If a crustacean happens to lose an appendage, it can grow a new one!
