Rotation
B: Diagnosis & Recommendations
After
completing Rotation A, you are considered an expert in that area of research.
Unfortunately,
the public knows very little about the topic - but they should know
more about it!
Therefore,
a local television station has asked you to create a public service
announcement to explain what you learned. You need to follow
all of the guidelines below for your public service announcement:
- Explain
the factor that you researched (such as bulimia or smoking cigarettes)
- Explain
how it affects the human body (by answering all of the questions
you researched)
- Use
the prop or poster and your write-up you developed as homework
from Rotation A
- Use
your own words
- No
more than three minutes in length
- It
can be serious, funny or dramatic. Just make sure you cover all of the points
above.
When
you know what you are going to say, you will act out your message in front of
a video camera that will be in the room. Remember
- your fellow doctors are counting on your public service announcement to make
sure the public is aware of this health problem! Good luck! |
